Just south of Browns Reservoir, the Silvermine River enters the John D. Milne Reservoir, which extends from the town of Lewisboro in New York State southward into New Canaan in Connecticut. The outflow from the John D. Milne crosses North Wilton Road and then goes immediately into the Grupes Reservoir.
