The topographic maps leave this brook unnamed, but the people at Hagstrom have labelled it "Racoon [sic?] Stream", suggesting the name used here. It runs parallel to and just slightly east of Belden Hill Road, starting near Old Nursery Drive, about half a mile south of Wolfpit Road. There are several small ponds in the section that runs between Belden Hill and Old Belden Hill Roads, but they are quite well hidden from public view.
