Two streams enter the Norwalk River from the east near Wolfpit Road, a couple miles south of Wilton Center on Route 7. These are Bryant Brook and Chestnut Hill Brook. Some other unnamed brooks (not shown on the map) enter from the west. At this point, the Norwalk River itself is recovering from heavy road construction work that was done recently at Wolfpit Road.
